Albus the Fat Cat and My Kiddies

After a six and half hour rehearsal for A Wrinkle in Time, it's quite wonderful falling onto our couch next to Albus, the fat black cat. He's not OUR fat black cat, but our neighbor's. (: Hello, Albus.
Mostly this post is just an excuse to share the CUTE faces of the kids I get to see everyday. (: Today we got out the bikes and there was perfect mayhem on the playground. Sigh. I am still learning names! Sorry I don't know all of them. ):
Andrew's just two, so he couldn't get on the bigger bikes. He was quite put out, until I whipped out my camera and snapped a picture of him! haha A smile beamed across his face.

Asia's my little helper and likes it when I'm her baby girl and she's the mom. We go on frequent shopping trips to Walmart and buy Chicken Nuggets. haha The purple thing she's holding is a small bunny named after my mom's first name, "Alicia." I had to sing the bunny to sleep because she had allergies and multiple boo-boos. (:

These two are quite the duo. I don't remember the other's name, but she's a sweetheart and likes to show me her ballerina moves.

I LOVE HIM. SO MUCH. Ryder loves helping me and asking me questions and proposing to all the girls on the playground. He asked me to marry him the other day and gave me a flower. He's seriously the sweetest little boy. The other day he asked me to get all the babies so he could hold them. He wanted to hold the babies. !!! Today he asked me to help him find his Spiderman action figure. In his words, "I have a toy and his name is Spiderman." !!!!! CAN YOU HANDLE IT?!

Andrew totters after me all day long. (:

I don't remember this awesome dude's name, but he's pretty stinkin' cool. He almost karate chopped me.

My first official day, Jasmine came home from school with the other big kids and saw me on the playground. She shouted, "Chelsea!!!" and then catapulted herself in the air and hugged me tight.
Basically, I don't deserve the life I'm living, but somehow I am anyway.

SO MANY FRIENDS SO MANY HUGS

Gosh, today has been a great day! I ran into three friends I haven't seen in a long time: Emma (3 years), Alex (almost 2 years) and Tess (a week haha). Emma Tan was in my first ward here at BYU...gosh so long ago. :) Summer term 2009. When Emma and I saw each other in the jkb, we hugged so hard and then held hands/hugged while walking. hahah I never thought I'd be one of those girls who screams really loud when spotting a friend a ways away. hahhaa But I guess it's come to that. :) Alex Nichols was a missionary serving in Burlington, Kansas when I went home for summer break 2010 and has become a wonderful friend to my younger brother, Jim.  Alex served in Manhattan, Lawrence, Topeka, and our humble town, Burlington. :) I found out he came home 3 months and 3 days ago and is studying Exercise Science here at BYU, mega rad. Tess Richmond became a wonderful friend a year ago when we took the same Creative Writing class. Plans will be made to eat lunch at the moa soon, I'm sure. :)
Overall, the past few days have ruled:
1) Zac and I made chicken fajita tacos with corn tortillas an hour ago...om nom nom
2)I cleaned the apartment--the whole thing--as soon as I got home from classes today.
3)I'm getting awesome grades back in all my classes.
4)I hardly have any hw due tomorrow or Friday! Hazzah!
5) My novel is coming along so nicely and I can't wait to write some more tonight.
6) Last night/this morning Zac and I read scriptures together before falling asleep. :)
7)I have a great idea for my next play writing assignment...It's gonna be cool.
8) Zac and I went on a date Saturday night. I drove in the crazy snow...in the dark. And I didn't kill us. Obviously. :)

I want you to laugh, right now. So watch this. Thank you.

Love,
Chelsea

6th month anniversary, BERT, a purse named Zoe, and Christmas

Hi, my name's Chelsea, and I have a pretty awesome life right now.
Merry Belated Christmas (by 5 minutes)!
Christmas Eve was our 6th month anniversary.
We've been married for 6 months and two days now.
AWESOME.
I was planning on taking more pictures throughout the day...

but in the end, these last mintue, "Zac, will you please take a picture with me?" had to do.
We spent our very first Christmas Eve together with Josh's family.
We had good food, good conversation, and Mario Kart the whole night (I got 4th every single race >< I will get better, I promise!)
And...

I GOT TO CUDDLE WITH BERT AGAIN.
You remember Bert, don't you?
Yes, ladies and gentlemen.
I am proud to say that Bert cuddled in my lap on several occasions and once even fell asleep.
Quite the feat, if I do say so myself.
He's very ferocious.

For our Christmas, we stayed in Provo, due to being poor married college students.
It was both of our first Christmas's away from family.
So...it really sunk in that Zac and I are our "own" family now.

Of course, we still have our moms, dads, siblings, and extended family to share Christmas with by phone and internet. But it was still somewhat hard waking up this morning and realizing we were on our "own."
However, I think we were also excited to start a holiday with one another, just the two of us, with new and unfound traditions.
We tried pulling a Christmas Eve all nighter...but ended up falling asleep at 3 or so.
We were laying in bed at 1 am, not very tired.
Zac says to me, "I'm not tired. Are you?"
"No, not really."
"Do you wanna pull an all nighter?"
"Really? Right now?"
"Why not?"
"...Okay."
"Really?"
"YEAH! Okay here's what we're gonna do. 1) Get out of bed."
"Right."
"No, you say 'check.'"
"But we haven't done anything yet."
"Oh, right. Well then just say 'right.'"
"Right."
 "1) Get out of bed."
 "Right."
"2) Turn on the light."
"Right."
"3) Clean up the living room and kitchen."
"Do we really have to?"
"Yes. 5) Open presents."
"YAY!"
"6) Hot cocoa...and a movie?"
"We'll figure it out from there."
"Ready?"
I felt him nod next to me.
 "LET'S DO THIS."
<3
We enjoyed a humble and quiet Christmas with one another.
Thank you Karen and Stephanie for sending us these amazing gifts!
We love you so much!!!

Zac is so handsome. :3
And I can't wait to wear my two new dresses and my BOOTS!
I have also named my new purse, Zoe.
:]
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Plaid shirts and A KITTEN (Part two)...and a mustache

Bert loves box.

Chelsea loves Bert.

Plaid loves Chelsea.
Chelsea loves mustaches.
Oh, wait.
><

Plaid shirts AND A KITTEN

Well...I don't think I'm cool anymore. :(
I just went out to play in the snow with Zac. He was way more excited about the snow than I was, seeing as this is his *first* snow (his first first snow happened when he was really little). He grew up in California. I, on the other hand, grew up in Kansas, where snow starts in November and doesn't go away until February-Marchish. Also, while growing up, I was the target for all the snowballs. I thought, "Hey, maybe today will be different! Maybe today I will destroy Zac and win in a snowball fight! YEAH LET'S DO THIS!" Instead, he totally owned me. I just kind of stood there, frowning, laughing, and not feeling my hands while he threw snowballs at me. >< hahaha Oh, well. At least I looked really cute! :)
Well, now I'm off to go play video games with Zac and his friend, Josh.
Wish me luck.
I may definitely need it.

I WAS JUST REMINDED THAT JOSH HAS A KITTEN
I AM A HAPPY GIRL!
:D
