Zachary is being very good to me this evening. You'll see why soon, I promise.
I GOT INTO "HEDDA GABLER" with Utah Shakespeare in the Park! :] I didn't get the part of Thea, who I was hoping for. I got the part of Berta, the comic relief character who also happens to be the servant girl...I do believe I will always have the advantage of landing this role in any play I audition for. Small build, big eyes, bubbly personality, infectious laugh...haha Yup, that's me. I was a little bummed when I heard the voicemail from my director congratulating me on landing Berta. I couldn't help it. But I've been thinking about it more, had a good cry (haha) and I am going to do all I can to make my character AMAZING. I'm sure our show will be AMAZING no matter who got what role. Though I may get small roles every once in a while, it is those smaller roles that I can make my own and possibly even make the show. :] (It's happened before... :])
I spent my day cleaning our horror fest of an apartment. Everything sparkles and smells of lemon now! :D
Zac had several tests to take this afternoon, then rushed home as quickly as he could to be with me. :3 He asked me to get a notebook out of his backpack. I pulled out one, asked if that notebook was what he wanted, and found out I needed to check another pocket. I did and pulled out "Funny Girl!" HOW ADORABLE IS ZAC? I MEAN REALLY. He makes my heart go pitter patter. He's been apprehensive to watch "Funny Girl" because of Barbara. But I love her. So we're gonna have fun. :]
He even made dinner! In our clean kitchen! And later, we're gonna bake cookies!
And, finally, here are some SICK RAD posters I found today!
